Based in the Washington, D.C. Metro area, DTJ.Org specializes

Diane Johnson
Diane Johnson is a public relations and marketing communications consultant, and has been principal of DTJ.Org Public Relations & Marketing since 1995. A highly-valued advisor with more than 15 years of public relations experience and a solid business background, she is entrusted by senior executives to provide sound, informed guidance and execution of their most critical communications issues.
With expertise in results-driven public relations and marketing communications strategies and services, Diane provides critical support for clients’ business development and corporate communications functions. She works with Fortune 500 firms; in IT, network communications, e-commerce, software development, and business professional services; with small businesses seeking increased exposure to support their growth; and non-profits requiring issues and member advocacy.
Diane’s greatest value proposition is in servicing her clients with the accountability and attentiveness of an in-house communications director. She has enhanced positive perception and increased recognition for her clients through her ability to develop communication strategies, media messaging and corporate positioning; secure media placements in key targeted print and broadcast media; arrange speaker bookings at prestigious industry conferences, and manage critical strategic partner relationships.

Prior Experience
Before founding DTJ.Org in 1995, Diane was an associate at Loving Associates, a corporate communications consulting firm in Alexandria, Virginia. Prior to Loving Associates, she was a freelance business development consultant to the Public Relations Council in Richmond, Virginia, and had worked as an account executive at Tilson & Associates, a public relations agency in Boca Raton, Florida.
Diane began her professional career on Wall Street as a sales associate in fixed income for Bankers Trust Company New York and later, as an Assistant Vice President with Cantor Fitzgerald Securities Corporation, an institutional bond broker.
Professional Recognition/Education
Diane was awarded a U.S. government General Services Administration (GSA) contract for Marketing, Media and Public Information Services in June 2000.
She graduated from The College of New Jersey with a B.S. in Business Administration/Economics, and also studied undergraduate at Teesside Polytechnic in Middlesbrough, Cleveland, England.
Debbi Mayster
Debbi Mayster is a public relations professional with expertise in strategic planning and execution of marketing/communications programs for commercial and non-profit organizations. She is a highly-valued public relations practitioner with more than 10 years experience providing guidance on an organization’s most important communication matters. During the last five years her concentration has been in high-tech with a focus on the software industry.
Prior to working with DTJ.Org Public Relations & Marketing, Debbi spent more than five years as the Communications Manager at the Business Software Alliance (BSA), a non-profit trade association founded by the world’s leading software companies. Debbi’s public relations and marketing experience includes assisting in the development, strategic planning, and implementation of public relations, marketing programs and media strategies.
Debbi has displayed exceptional skills in media management and strives to ensure press coverage is consistently positive-to-neutral in tone. She has generated story placements that have secured millions of media impressions in major media outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, Investor’s Business Daily, CNN, Bloomberg, CNET, Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, Associated Press, Reuters, numerous daily publications as well as broadcast media outlets.
Prior to BSA, Debbi spent more than eight years on the agency side. She was an account supervisor for Eisner, Petrou and Associates, a full service communications agency. She was responsible for strategic planning and coordination of programs for clients in the telecommunications, travel/tourism and hospitality industries. Debbi was also an account executive at Edelman Public Relations Worldwide and boutique firm, Linda Roth Public Relations.
Debbi is a consummate team player; reliable and continuously aiming above and beyond client expectations.
Debbi graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Journalism, with a Concentration in Public Relations.
